Independent.ie has launched what it claims is the country’s first national newspaper title iPhone application allowing readers news access on the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch in any location.
Users can view news headlines, articles and pictures quickly and send them to friends. The iPhone application from Independent.ie contains the latest news updated throughout the day.
Ian Byrne, managing director, Independent Digital, said they have achieved another first to market product and become one of the first publishers globally to charge for this product.
