Some 4.3 million readers of the French magazine Geo can get to read all about Ireland right now. The July edition of the glossy travel magazine includes a 43-page spread about the island of Ireland and features a shot of Lough Corrib in Co Galway on the cover. Ireland’s tourist bodies invited photojournalist Sébastien Desurmont to visit last January.
Desurmont’s resulting article appears under the headline ‘Irlande: Cap sur l’Île d’Émeraude’ (‘Ireland: Next stop, Emerald Isle’) and focuses on places like the Aran Islands, Cork and Derry. The feature includes photos and also mentions Leitrim, Sligo and the Causeway Coast.
