Keogh’s Crisps cracks UK market

Keoghs agrees Tesco UK deal

Keogh’s Crisps has agreed a deal with British multiple Tesco which sees the family’s hand cooked potato crisps go on sale in 255 Tesco stores in the UK. The Keogh family have farmed the land in Oldtown in north county Dublin for over 200 years. Three years ago, they developed the artisan crisps and the next year were on the shelves of Tesco in Ireland. Tom Keogh was a finalist in last year’s Marketing.ie Marketer of the Year.

Tesco worked with Keogh’s to get the company a seasonal slot in the UK for this year’s St Patrick’s Day. The brand is part of the Tesco-Bord Bia supplier development programme, along with Glenilen Farm and Lir Chocolates.
