RTÉ Media Sales has announced Liberty Insurance as sponsor of RTÉ 2fm Seven Day Weather. In a deal brokered by Core Sponsorship and RTÉ Commercial Solutions, the package features a 1 x 10” pre-recorded sponsor credited sting before every 2fm weather bulletin running from 6am to 7pm weekdays and 7am to 7pm at weekends.
Spanning the full 2fm schedule, Liberty Insurance will promote product mentions and will feature in all the 2fm top shows, including Breakfast Republic, The Nicky Byrne Show with Jenny Green, The Tracy Clifford Show (above) and Weekends with Dave Fanning. 2fm is the largest national station for 15-34 year olds with a market of 13.6 per cent.
It has a weekly reach figure of 837,000, which is the equivalent of a 22 per cent share of all adults over 15. Four out of the top five shows for adults between the ages of 15-34 are on 2FM. Colm Roche, senior sponsorship manager, Core, said partnering with 2fm Weather gives Liberty Insurance a presence across the week while rotating key messages.
