Marketing Society to review Budget

The Marketing Society will hold a breakfast briefing on the implications of the Budget for marketers in the Smock Alley Theatre on October 18. The society elected Martha Fanning (pictured) of Behaviour & Attitudes as chairperson. Mark Nolan of Amárach Research is now vice chair. Michael Clancy of MediaVest, Shane Doyle, MCCP and Mark Walsh of Ipsos mrbi are the new council members, following heavily contested elections.

They join Pat Stephenson, Boys and Girls; Jonathan Ryan, Mondelez International; Angela Healy, Empathy Marketing; Gráinne O’Brien, Murray Consultants; Ruth Guy, Barnardos; Leona Daly, Heineken Ireland and Annette Ni Dhathlaoi, Liberty Insurance. The deadline for the Research Excellence Awards is November 8.
