McCann Erickson has reported a number of new account gains. The wins for the agency run by Orlaith Blaney include a strategic and communications campaign for Bord Bia. The initiative will see McCanns working with design agency BFK in developing a new global brand identity for sustainable food. McCanns has also added the St Vincent de Paul account, in a four-way pitch which included the incumbent, Ann Corcoran’s Limetree.
The new VdP campaign aims to encourage donations in an increasingly tough fundraising market. Other recent gains reported by McCanns include Davy stockbrokers, Interpublic client Purina and the Irish Cancer Society’s October breast cancer awareness month, which includes Pink Ribbon Day and Get the Girls ‘Round initiatives.
Meanwhile, on the wider pitch front, Londis has narrowed down its creative review from nine agencies on credentials to four creative presentations. The convenience chain’s Ruth Norton is in charge of the review. It is understood that among the four agencies presenting are Language and the incumbent, DDFH&B-JWT.
