McCarthy to speak at ISME national conference

Colm McCarthy of An Bord Snip, whose report to the government is recommending areas where spending cuts should be made to help the economy recover and avoid possible interference in our affairs from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), will address the Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) national conference in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry on Friday, November 13th.
Dr John Teeling, Cooley Distillery, horse trainer Jim Bolger, David Begg of ICTU and economist Jim Power, Friends First, are also among the line-up of speakers. The conference theme is ‘Quare Times’, which Mark Fielding said reflects the attitude of ISME members as it translates from Latin into English as “why be afraid”.
Matt Cooper, Today FM presenter and Sunday Times columnist, will chair the conference.
