Former DDFH&B chief executive and Nestle and Bank of Ireland marketing director Miriam Hughes has joined the board of Pluto. The event and experiential agency is run by co-founders Cathy O’Donohoe and Elaine O’Reilly. Current clients include Audi, Lidl, Dropbox, EY, Google, Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, Unilever and United Biscuits owner, Pladis.
Pluto is part of Colin Culliton’s The Printed Image (TPI) group of companies.
Commenting on the appointment, O’Donohoe said that Hughes was a respected and admired member of the marketing community and her appointment as a board director at Pluto will help drive results for the agency through effective brand experiences. Hughes said she was delighted to become a part of Pluto at such a challenging and exciting time.
Hughes also served on the board of the Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland (IAPI).
