Chemistry to close on Friday

As feared, award-winning creative agency Chemistry is to close. Co-founder and managing director Ray Sheerin told Marketing.ie that despite every effort to save the agency before Christmas and remain in business, the company will finally close its doors in Leeson Park this Friday. Chemistry’s demise has come as a big shock to many people in adland.

Sheerin said the business is being wound up in an orderly fashion.

Other IAPI agencies had been contacted about recruiting Chemistry staff. Prior to the two-week moratorium in December, clients were informed about the possible outcome and had been advised to consider hiring other agencies. Chemistry clients include Dunnes Stores, Bord na Mona, Danone, Center Parcs, Applegreen and the Irish Cancer Society.
