Ogilvy won the grand prix and three golds for its Lucozade Sport Club Crusade promotion at the 2013 Star promotion awards. Republic of Telly presenter Dermot Whelan presented 15 golds to eight APMC agencies. Rothco Social + took four golds for their work for Irish Distillers and Meteor. Publicis won three golds for Heineken, while Real Nation, Stratagem iLabs, Ground4D, Zoo Digital and Verve each won a gold.
This year’s entries were judged by a jury comprising Jamie Helly, managing director, Dynamo; Dr. Laurent Muzellec, lecturer in marketing at UCD; Paul Godwin, owner of PCG Consultants and group planning consultant with Positive Thinking and Ruth Guy, fundraising and marketing director, Barnardos Ireland.
