Publicis D has opened a healthcare office in Little Island in Cork as part of its on-going development. Cork business woman of the year Yvonne Farrar and former managing director of Kanvas Communications has been recruited by the agency, which is run in Ireland by John Canacott (pictured). Farrar is joined at the Publicis Groupe Worldwide subsidiary by former Kanvas colleagues, Sarah McGarry and Kasia Uszcynska.
Julie O’Donnell was recently appointed strategic planning director on the Publicis D board and head of its healthcare services. O’Donnell holds an honours degree in biochemistry from UCC and and postgraduate diplomas in PR and event management, digital marketing and website design. Publicis D healthcare clients include Anthisan, Medfit, Mundipharma Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Sanofi-Aventis, Shire Pharma and VHI.
