Debenhams launches its new ‘Life Made Fabulous’ TV ad with creations by Irish designer John Rocha on TV3 tonight. The ad showcases Debenham’s summer ranges in occasion wear, hats, swimwear, handbags, footwear and jewellery and also features designs by Matthew Williamson, Sadie Frost and Jemima French.
Milliner Stephen Jones joins the line-up in his first appearance in a Debenhams ad. Jones’s Top Hat collection comprises hats, fascinators and occasion handbags and is displayed alongside some summer occasion wear from designers Jonathan Saunders, Jenny Packham and Jasper Conran. The range features a. John Rocha white lace dress priced at €85 and a Floozie by FrostFrench red floral swimsuit at €61.
The ad’s backing track is ‘This is the life’ by Irish indie rock band Two Door Cinema Club. The band’s name came about after member Sam Halliday mispronounced the name of the local cinema, Tudor Cinema, and it stuck. The Debenhams campaign was created by JWT London.
