Ryanair is to appoint an agency to develop its data and customer relationship marketing (CRM) as part of its revised customer strategy. The pitch process is being managed internally. European agencies are invited to submit credentials by email by 5pm on Friday, March 28. An appointment is due to be made by the end of April.
The low fares airline recently appointed former Tesco marketing boss Kenny Jacobs as chief marketing officer to spearhead Ryanair’s rebrand as a consumer-friendly carrier. Jacobs (pictured above) quit price comparison site, Moneysupermarket.com. He also worked for Metro Cash & Carry, Accenture and Procter & Gamble.
