Love Irish Food has launched the Masters of Their Art series in association with the Irish Independent. The campaign is a nationwide search among its member brands to find those who have a major passion and a true understanding of their craft. With the loss of many of the country’s finest food industries in recent years, and the movement abroad of many manufacturing facilities, the Irish food industry risks losing some of its best production skills.
Many of these skills have been passed down from generation to generation within successful businesses. With the loss of some food production industries, and often the unique craftsmanship and skills inherent in these, this new initiative from Love Irish Food looks to identify and celebrate those with unique skills, tools, recipes and methods for building brands.
Once the judging is complete and four finalists have been selected and announced, each finalist will then be profiled in the Irish Independent’s Weekend magazine. Following this, the judging panel will then select one overall winner who will receive a special Love Irish Food commemorative and personalised sculpture. To enter, visit www.loveirishfood.ie
