Independent News & Media (INM) has appointed The Public House to handle its creative advertising after a three-way pitch. The agency will work on the the Irish Independent, Sunday Independent and independent.ie. The remit for the agency includes brand strategy, positioning and communications with the roll out of a campaign later this year.
Based near Dublin Castle, The Public House, which is run by Catrióna Campbell and Colin Hart, has a client list which includes Paddy Power, Jameson for Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard and Epic: The Irish Emigration Museum. The agency’s motto is ‘Boring Doesn’t Sell’. They will work to INM’s chief customer officer Mark Ody (pictured).
INM was acquired by Belgian publisher Mediahuis for €145.6 million earlier this year.
