Today FM has a new line up of voices to its weekend schedule. Broadcaster and sports personality Anna Geary will join Declan Pierce to co-host a new show called Pumped up Kicks (Saturdays, 2-6pm) as from this Saturday. The show will bring listeners the most up-to-date sports results from home and abroad, with player and fan interviews interspersed with music.
Pamela Joyce (above right), who joined Today FM last year, will present three weekend shows: Friday Night Anthems (10pm-12am), Saturday (11am-2pm) and Sunday (1pm-4pm). Block Rockin’ Beats live on-air show will broadcast every Friday (7-10pm), as Today FM makes room for former TXFM presenter Claire Beck’s Saturday SoundSystem (6-9pm).
Block Rockin’ Beats will also broadcast as an additional digital station with 24-hour non-stop music on the Today FM app. Phil Cawley fans will now be able to hear the inimitable presenter playing hits on Sunday Drive (4-7pm). The new weekend schedule comes into effect this weekend while Pumped Up Kicks will air from Saturday, October 26.
