Tourism Ireland is partnering with US luxury retailer Neiman Marcus in a campaign called ‘The Art of Travel’. Ireland is one of four featured destinations which appear in the Neiman Marcus spring 2019 catalogue. It includes an Ireland travel guide, articles and tips on vacations in Ireland from fashion industry insiders, including Simone Rocha.
The collaboration runs during March and April includes ads, articles and videos on Neiman Marcus digital platforms. In-store events will be held in the Beverly Hills and Neiman Marcus Hudson Yards, the company’s first New York store. Promotions for the new American Airlines flight from Dallas to Dublin being launched in June will feature in the Dallas store.
There will be window displays featuring attractions like Fanad Lighthouse, Kylemore Abbey and Titanic Belfast. The tie-up with Neiman Marcus is part of Tourism Ireland’s strategy to connect with Americans using high-profile lifestyle brands. The body aims to increase North American visitors by eight per cent to €1.99 billion, generated by 2.17 million visitors.
