VMTV helps Irish SMEs with €1m support scheme

Virgin Media Television (VMTV) has launched a €1 million support fund for companies affected by the Covid-19 coronavirus crisis, providing them with promotions across its network. The broadband and pay-TV operator, which operates three free-to-air channels and Virgin Media Sport, is supporting small and medium-sized (SMEs) businesses with a national platform.

Companies are being invited to submit a short CV-style video and show how they are responding to the challenges arising from the coronavirus pandemic. Business sectors will be profiled each week with selected companies given free airtime, ad creative and production, social media promotion, PR activity, content features and a business support package.

A number of companies have already been chosen to feature in the new campaign, including PamperTheCamper.com, The Sensory Pod, StuffUNeed.ie, Nufields, Workspace Interiors and South William Clinic & Spa. Submissions can either be sent by email to backingbusiness@virginmedia.ie or submitted by way of WhatsApp.

Sky Media Ireland recently announced a similar support scheme for SMEs.
