Line Lite idea aimed at cutting shop queues

Developers of a new digital booking system that allows customers to pre-book shop visits are in talks with leading Irish retailers. Line Lite is aimed at helping retailers minimise queues while maximising footfall under social distancing rules. The concept was developed by hospitality consultant Anthony Remedy (pictured) and software expert John O’Neill.

Remedy, a promoter who has also run various restaurants, said that as well as helping retailers minimise queues, Line Lite also provides analytics on in-store shopper preferences and buyer behaviour. O’Neill is the founder of Oshi Software, the company behind the same technology used by Tickets.ie, which provided tickets for the Papal visit in 2018.

It is also used by music venues such as the Button Factory and the Grand Social.
