Mail gets fruity with agencies

Associated Newspapers Ireland (ANI), publisher of such titles as the Irish Daily Mail and the Evoke website, is running a fun competition for agencies based around the group’s combined two million female audience. Agencies are invited to show “the fruits” of their labour by nominating a client and say why they deserve to win an ad campaign to the value of €150,000. They are also giving away €5,000 worth of shopping vouchers.

ANI sales director Karl Byrne, pictured, says agencies can earn bonus points by using the fruit basket sent to them to create a sculpture, collage or any form of artwork and send it with their competition entry. Agencies are urged to explain the reason why their client should win in less than 140 characters so it can be tweeted. Entries close at midday on Thursday, August 28th, with the winner being announced the following day.
