Coca-Cola ran a special homecoming campaign on AerPods at Dublin Airport. In a partnership with DMG Media and its Irish Daily Mail’s MailOnline, family and friends could go online and enter the name of a love done coming home for Christmas. Their name, along with their flight arrival time and welcoming photo and message, were then uploaded.
Names were chosen to appear on selected AerPod screens as passengers went through arrivals. Devised by MediaCom, the Coke ads on the 70″ digital screens created a strong and timely emotional connection. The Dunnes Stores ‘Make Christmas’ campaign ran across all AerPods in both arrivals, using eight creative executions showcasing Irish designers.
Brown Thomas ran their ‘Every Bag Tells a Story’ campaign across T2 arrivals AerPods in December. The BT Christmas message tied in with the department store’s year round presence in T2 welcoming home passengers at the airport. Another first Audi showcase the A4 model in T2, next to AerPods featuring eight different creative executions.
DAA claims a record 25 million passengers passed through Dublin Airport last year.
