Eir review down to four agencies

Eir TVC - Skelligs

Following the decision to undergo a tender process for the Eir and Meteor creative accounts, an agency review  in Ireland and the UK has resulted in a four agency shortlist. The two Dublin-based agencies are Publicis and Eir’s incumbent, DDFH&B. UK agencies Snap and Host will also make presentations. A decision is due to be made in early June.

Publicis has experience working with Eir as it handled Meteor prior to it moving to Rothco.

The review coincides with the departure of the group’s head of brand and communications, Lisa Comerford, who joins Brown Thomas as marketing director. Comerford previously worked with Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp and in market research with Lansdowne – now Millward Brown. She then joined Coca-Cola, heading up research and branding roles. 

Comerford spearheaded the Eir roll out, including the Skelligs TV ad created by DDFH&B.
