FM104 gives a head start to Jigsaw fundraiser

Dublin music station FM104 will host ‘Mind Your Noggin Day’ later this month in aid of youth mental health charity Jigsaw. The aim is to raise awareness of mental health issues in young people, particularly at this time when many are struggling to deal with the fallout from the Covid-19 coronavirus crisis and uncertainty around exam timetables.

Listeners will also be urged to donate whatever they can to help the charity keep its services and supports available during this crucial time. On Friday, May 22, FM104 presenters like Jim Jim and Nobby from the Strawberry Alarm Clock, Emma Nolan and Ben Murray will talk about Jigsaw and update listeners on how fundraising is going.

Jigsaw’s mission is to create a society that values and supports young people’s mental health. Through its free confidential one-to-one support services, it tries to change how our society responds to young people. FM104’s CEO Margaret Nelson (pictured) said donations can be made through the charity’s Just Giving page and through Instagram.
