Core’s head of research Mark Nolan is leaving the country’s biggest marketing services company to take up a senior post at Genesis, the agency run by Gary Joyce. Nolan has worked at Core for six years and headed up its former Ignite Research subsidiary. Prior to that, he worked at Amarach Research for seven years, three years as the agency’s managing director.
He chaired the Marketing Society from 2011 to 2016 and has a BSc in marketing from DIT.
Gensis was founded by former Dimension directors Gary Joyce and Roddy Rowan. Clients include AIB, An Post, Bord Gais Energy, Bus Eireann, Datalex, Keelings and SuperValu. They also work for various cultural and charitable bodies. Its offshoot agency, W5, run by former Millward Brown executive Clare Kavanagh, specialises in customer experience measurement.
