Former Sunday Business Post marketing and media correspondent Colette Sexton is to join PR agency Edelman as associate director in its public affairs division from early September. During her time as a journalist she also worked as a news correspondent with the Post and, more recently, as political correspondent for The Times Ireland edition.
Edelman Dublin is run by Joe Carmody (pictured on home page). Sexton will work under Government and Fine Gael press secretary Feargal Purcell where public affairs clients include AirBnb, Musgrave Group, KBC and the Irish Offshore Operators Association. Former Fianna Fáil TD and Ireland rugby international Jim Glennon acts as a consultant.
