One of Ireland’s top luxury five-star hotels, Ashford Castle, has appointed Sherry Communications to manage its PR. The Dublin agency run by Rachel Sherry was awarded the contract from this month, after a competitive pitch. Set in a 350-acre estate in Cong, Co Mayo, Ashford Castle is one of 19 properties owned by international group Red Carnation.
Kennedy PR + Brand handled the accounts for many years.
Sherry will work to Paula Carroll, Ashford Castle’s director of sales and marketing and general manager, Niall Rochford. Sherry’s other clients include Emirates, Emirates Holidays, eBay, Maxol, Irish Food Writers’ Guild, Arab Irish Chamber of Commerce, Georgina Campbell Awards, LDV (The Harris Group), Matrix Recruitment and Fenero Taxation Services.
Sherry, a former MD of Grayling PR in Ireland, founded her agency in 2012.
