Gordon Torr, managing director, CDM London, is the final judge for Adfx 2012 organised by the Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland (IAPI). He is the former chair of the JWT worldwide creative council and global creative director on Nestle, Kellogg, Vodafone and De Beers. He has two decades of consumer advertising experience from his work in Africa, Latin America and Europe and five years in healthcare.
He is the author of Managing Creative People (Wiley 2008), one of the top five books on marketing communications recommended by the International Advertising Association (IAA). As well as Torr, this year’s judges are Alison Hoad, joint chief executive, RKCR/Y&R; John Billet, johnbillet.com; Maurice Patterson, Kemmy Business School, UL and Ed McDonald, chief executive, Association of Advertisers in Ireland (AAI) .
