The Institute of Advertising Practitioners Ireland, (IAPI) has recruited five new agencies. The new members are Acorn, Bloom, ICAN, Lucidity Digital and TMP. The additions bring the total IAPI membership agency number to 50. IAPI works to inform, guide and negotiate issues on behalf of their agency members in Irish advertising. The governing body regularly hosts events and training sessions to help members progress.
Highlights this year include the development of the IAPI Finding the Right Agency Guide to streamline more cost-effective pitching practices and the introduction of the IAPI Mad World Up Close mentoring programme. Tim France (above), board director, Acorn, said his agency recognises the status IAPI membership brings. Acorn, a multiple winner of the An Post direct marketing agency award, now has almost 90 staff.
