Tequila scores gold hat-trick

Cawley NeaTBWA’s Tequila took home three golds and one silver for work for Electric Ireland from the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) European awards. Tequila was competing against 46 national winners from nine markets. The wins followed a seven-week judging process, involving 53 adjudicators.

Leah Donohue, account director at Cawley NeaTBWA, said the wins show that Irish brands can compete at the highest international levels and succeed. Creative director Adam Crane said international awards are no longer all about big budgets. Social media has levelled the playing field, which favours of Irish campaigns.

The wins were for Electric Ireland Tweet Hunt in direct communication and digital communication. The same campaign won gold in sponsorship/joint effort /tie-in. Electric Ireland’s Tweet Café campaign won gold for the most innovative idea or concept and a silver in the sponsorship/joint effort /tie-in category.
