BoSI moves to WPP's Mediaedge:cia

Bank of Scotland (Ireland) has switched its media planning and buying account from the Publicis-owned ZenithOptimedia to Mediaedge:cia as part of an international alignment by the Lloyds banking group. Vizeum and OMD were also involved in the four-way review.
Mediaedge:cia will work to Mark Mohan, head of marketing an communications, strategy and products at BoSI. The bank’s Halifax creative account is shared between Language and KDNine, having moved from Publicis QMP earlier in the year after a pitch.
The BoSI news follows an alignment decision by Vodafone to move its media to OMD soon. The decision came as a blow to Carat given that had it seen off a challenge from OMD and Initiative in an Irish review for the €15 million account earlier this year.
