The RacePix365.com Irish website which combines photo sharing with athletics has uploaded 20,000 images since its launch less than a year ago. Racepix365.com was launched by Darren Spring, who, like the many contributors to the site, combines a love of photography with running.
Polish photographer Daniel Kowalczyk took the 20,000th photo at the BHAA Pearl Izumi 10k race in Firhouse, Dublin last Saturday. When photos are submitted to the site, bib numbers can be recorded to allow the participants do a search and identify themselves in a race.
