Electric Ireland has invited expressions of interest from creative, digital and below the line agencies. Irish International currently handles creative work (above), while below the line projects are with Omnicom’s Tequila. Media planning and buying, which is with MediaVest, is not part of the process. The review is being handled by Agency Assessments Ireland, whose director is the appropriately-named Brian Sparks.
A decision on AIB media is said to be imminent. The agencies pitching are MediaCom, Vizeum and the incumbent Starcom. Former Diageo executive Tom Kinsella is AIB group marketing director.
