Emma rests easy with new Crawford podcast

Bed mattress brand Emma is to sponsor Georgie Crawford’s latest podcast, The Good Glow Health. Crawford’s first podcast, The Good Glow, claims to have over four million downloads, featuring regularly at the top of the podcast charts. The new spin-off podcast focuses purely on health content by exploring issues with various experts and health professionals.

The aim is to make these often-complicated topics accessible, easy to understand and actionable. Crawford said self-care became a huge part of her life a few year ago when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. “I hope to drive awareness of the importance of our health and show people that there’s a way to overcome,” she said.

“One of the key pillars of self-care is health literacy and this is something I focused on during my recovery,” she added. The new podcast is aimed at helping listeners better understand key health topics such as gut health, sleep and fertility. She said she wanted to help bust myths, remove the jargon and open the conversation.

“Women want to have longer conversations about their health,” she said. “We want easy to understand information from experts that we can then action. She said it was great to have Emma as sponsor of the podcast’s first season as sleep is key to people’s good health and yet it is something that can be underestimated by people.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 at the age of 32, Crawford’s world turned upside down and her health became her full focus. She pledged to educate herself on all aspects of her health to give herself the best chance of a physical and mental recovery. Since its launch in December 2018, The Good Glow has established itself in Ireland and overseas.

The Good Glow Health podcast starts on August 17, with eight episodes, two a week.
