Guinness goes with 3D hurling final billboards

Diageo has launched a series of Guinness 3D billboards in Tipperary, Kilkenny and Dublin ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland senior hurling final at Croke Park. The ads are three-dimensional versions of this year’s Guinness ‘A County Will Rise’ hurling campaign which had different themes for each of the 12 counties in this year’s senior championship.
The ads show a county hurler with a winged backdrop made of hurleys. Six versions of the ad were built with two running in both of the finalist counties, along with two in Dublin, one of each showing a Tipperary and Kilkenny player. The campaign was handled by Initiative and Kinetic.
Tipp FM have produced 5,000 branded swine flu masks for county fans. The masks will be handed out by hurling fans from Thurles to matchgoers en route to Croke Park. Ethel Walsh of Tipp FM said the mask campaign cost the station a total of €1,200.
