Hynes to speak at PR conference

Aedhmar Hynes has been confirmed as a speaker for the PRII ’20:20 Vision’ annual conference. Hynes is ranked among the top 50 most influential global communications professionals over recent years. Most recently, she was the CEO of Text 100, the information technology specialist agency with 22 offices in Europe, North America and Asia.

Hynes has worked in the communications and marketing industry for more than three decades, leading and supporting many top brands through digital transformation and tech disruption. Her specialisation has been in the tech sector and her consulting work includes international clients such as Adobe, Cisco, Harmon, IBM, Lenovo and Xerox.

She is chairman of The Page Society, the pre-eminent industry body for chief communications officers (CCOs) of Fortune 500 companies.  She won the 2019 Humanitarian Award from Concern Worldwide, was voted 2018 Global Communications Professional of the Year and received the NUI Galway alumni award for business and commerce.

A sister of Druid Theatre director Garry Hynes, she will present key findings from an 18-month research project organised by The Page Society, which examines the future of the communications industry, in particular in-house CCOs. She will explain how they can prepare themselves and their teams to offer best counsel to disrupted employers.
