McCann Erickson has promoted Emma Sharkey and Ray Swan to creative group heads in recognition of the work they have done in recent years, including campaigns for Heineken and the National Cancer Screening for Cervical Check. The duo have earned industry awards at ICAD and the Sharks.
Both Swan and Sharkey joined McCanns from Ogilvy & Mather. An art director, Swan’s accounts included Lucozade Sport, Deep River Rock, Easi Singles, Safefood and the HSE. He has a BA honours in English and psychology from UCC and is a graduate of the MSc in advertising from DIT.
Sharkey cut her copywriting teeth on such O&M clients as Lucozade, Easi Singles, the HSE, Eircom, Xtra-vision and Ford. A graduate of UCD with a BA Hons in English, she has an MSc in advertising from DIT.
