Red Rock viewers to be tempted by devil’s wine

Chilean wine brand Casillero Del Diablo is to sponsor the new series of Garda drama Red Rock on Virgin Media Television in a deal brokered by GroupM’s Wavemaker. The contract covers broadcast sponsorship, digital product placement and ownership of all digital elements. The soap returns to Virgin Media One at 9pm on Monday, February 4.

The Virgin Media Solutions (VMS) team will use Mirriad technology for the digital insertion of the Casillero Del Diablo’s wines into relevant scenes across the series. VMS has also tied up a new deal with Domino’s Pizzas to sponsor the new series of Ireland’s Got Talent and Mor Talent, presented by Glenda Gilson and James Kavanagh.

The new series gets underway on Virgin Media One at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 2.

The deal was brokered by GroupM’s Mindshare agency.
