Superquinn has appointed Boys and Girls to handle its creative account after a protracted review which included up to six agencies, including Cawley NeaTBWA and the incumbent, Rothco, which handled a rebranding project last year. Boys and Girls will work to Superquinn marketing director Fiona Sweeney.
The IDA has contacted agencies and invited them to pitch for their advertising account currently with McConnells. The authority will evaluate tenders next week and this will be followed by clarification meetings after which they are expected to see full presentations from agencies.
Today is Ireland’s first National Fish & Chips Day and to mark the occasion veteran chipper Sam Macari and his grandson Paulo indulged on Dun Laoghaire Pier. The Irish Italian chipper was started by Italians who came to this country in the 1980s from villages in Val Di Comino in southern Italy.
