Thinkhouse to debate World War Z climate crisis

Youth marketing agency Thinkhouse will discuss ideas aimed at helping to fix climate change and assess the implications for marketers. Organised as part of the agency’s Youth Culture Uncovered series, the event aims to learn more about what’s facing the future of business and brands and young people’s take on what corrective actions should be taken.

Entitled World War Z, the breakfast event sees Thinkhouse’s Youth lab and Planet teams collaborate with international sustainability advisor Jeremy Mathieu in calling for a new dawn of marketing and advertising in the context of the climate breakdown facing today’s world. Mathieu has trained over 4,000 people in climate change facts and leadership.

Among the organisations and companies Mathieu has consulted for are Sky, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), RTÉ and Mindshare. He is currently a sustainability advisor to the BBC. The event will showcase facts, stories and advice on what brand owners can do as part of World War Z and examine how young people plan to fix the climate crisis.

A panel discussion will provide how-to’s and tips from organisations leading by example.

The event is a Thinkhouse initiative, run in association with the AAI. Tickets cost €45.
