Bord Gáis Energy has renewed its long-standing sponsorship contract of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship for an undisclosed fee. Marking 17 years of partnership with the GAA, BGE will also become the official energy sustainability partner of the national organisation and Croke Park under the renewed agreement.
Behind every game played at Croke Park, the electricity powering technology such as Hawk-Eye, scoreboards and stadium operations is sourced from renewable energy. A new energy insights management system is to be installed at Croke Park, indicating how much energy is used, where it is consumed in the stadium, and at what times.

GAA clubs around the country can avail of offers, including a discount of up to €1,500 on solar panel installation delivered by BGE’s net zero engineers.
