Core Media is the sponsor of the ‘Our City’ third class student programme promoting the development of towns and cities. Students learn how cities and towns develop as places where people work, live, play and go to school. As citizens of ‘Our City’ the young students also get to build their own city and debate the best way to plan for people’s needs.

Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) is a not-for-profit body which works with industry and educators to teach young people about the world of work, encouraging them to remain in education. This year, 63,000 Irish children from senior infants to Leaving Certificate, will take part in Junior Achievement science, maths and enterprise programmes in schools.

Core Media also works with Hugs and YouthReach as part of their youth and community-focused CSR strategy. Core’s deputy chief executive Aidan Greene is pictured with Leah Jordan, senior client manager, MediaVest and pupils from St Vincent’s GNS.
