Marketing Society supports young talent

Are you an ambitious young marketer? Want to know how to get ahead and take the next step in your career? The recently launched Marketing Society Future Council is hosting an event on Thursday, October 13, for people with 3-5 years’ marketing experience. The event hears views from the industry on how to be more influential.

The Future Council comprises seven people working in the industry for five years or less who want to promote thought leadership for young marketers. The seven are Chloe Murphy, Boys and Girls; Mary Sheahan from MCCP; David Deeley, Bord Bia; Dermot Markey, Mediaworks; Aoife Marron (pictured), Red C; Hannah-Louise Dunne from Radical and Karen Sheehan, Ipsos MRBI.

‘Influencing the Influencers’ is in Foley’s Bar on Merrion Row from 6pm and is sponsored by DMG Media. Speakers include Rory Hamilton, executive creative director, Boys and Girls, independent corporate trainer, lecturer and conference speaker Fiona Buckley and Padraig Hyland, communications coach, facilitator and speaker.
