Ogilvy & Mather has been named Network of the Year for the fifth time in a row at the Cannes Lions. The network achieved 120 Lions, including one titanium, one glass Lion and four grand prix awards, across 31 offices. Mike Mesbur, creative director, O&M Ireland said being part of the most creative network at Cannes for the fifth year running was “an incredible privilege”.
Mesbur says Ogilvy’s creative profile has never been higher globally. At a local level, it has meant the agency has been able to bring all kinds of fresh thinking and initiatives to our clients with campaigns such as Ulster Bank’s ‘Help for what Matters’ and Ford’s #MustangRun. The Cannes festival attracts 15,000 delegates and receives over 40,000 submissions in 23 categories.
