Ogilvy to host worldwide creative event

The Ogilvy Group is to host Portfolio Night 8, the global advertising portfolio review event, as it comes to Dublin for the first time next week. Devised by the Toronto-based ihaveanidea.org advertising archive, the event will see top agency creatives come together for the event now in its eight year.

As Portfolio Night 8 is held simultaneously in almost 40 cities worldwide, agency creatives will review the work of students, emerging creatives and freelancers in a ‘speed-dating’ setting. Ogilvy Ireland boss JP Donnelly said the event is intended to help emerging talent break into adland.

Each participant will get three 15-minute portfolio review sessions with three of Ireland’s top creative directors who will offer them advice on how they might improve their work. The event will be held in Ogilvy’s Dublin office at 6 Ely Place at 5.30pm on Thursday, May 20th.
