Publicis makes Schillaci miss

As we know in Ireland, we hate to carry a grudge. Saying that, one Italian did something to our country in 1990 ago that we can never forgive. Salvatore Schillaci scored the goal that ended Ireland’s impossible World Cup dream. So when TG4 decided to broadcast the game 30 years later, during lockdown, Publicis felt the fans needed something to ease the pain.

They did something for TG4 viewers history couldn’t. They made ‘Toto’ miss.

‘You can’t change history, but you can watch it’ is the promo headline.
