RTE is to launch a new media programme on Radio One next month. The Media Show will be a half-hour weekly magazine produced by Athena Media, run by former RTE Radio managing director, Helen Shaw (above). Journalist Brenda Power, a columnist with the Sunday Times and the Irish Daily Mail, will present the show.
The first series will air for eight weeks from 7.30pm on Saturday, April 14th. It will also be available by podcast and on the RTE Radio Player. Apart from RTE, Athena produces content for Newstalk, Setanta Sports, BBC Radio 4, The Irish Times, Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI), Women Mean Business (WMB) and UCD.
