Unilever campaigns to reduce prices

Unilever Ireland, the second largest advertiser in the country, is launching a consumer communications campaign to highlight an average 11 per cent price reduction across 70 per cent of its 900 brands portfolio. The campaign is advertising-led with PR support.
During the month of November, there will be extensive advertising in the national press, on 48 sheet posters, transport and on national radio. The campaign will highlight price reductions across Unilever brands.
Unilever brands include Flora, Knorr, Magnum, Cornetto, Hellmann’s, Dove, Lynx, Sure, Vaseline, Surf and Cif. There are 1.3 million Unilever products sold in retail outlets in Ireland every day.
Group turnover in Ireland last year was €296 million.
