Volkswagen Ireland ended last year with a 12.5 per cent market share for its VW brand. The result is a 0.6 per cent increase over 2010 sales and follows VW’s commitment to marketing, training and dealer support. Volkswagen Bank provided €47.4m for VW customers to support the increase in sales and market share.
Adam Chamberlain, head of sales and marketing at Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said they have a strong order book for this year. New models due out include the 21st Century Beetle (above)and Cross Polo.
