Woodie’s campaigns for children’s charities

Woodie’s has launched its 2016 Heroes Campaign to raise funds for children’s charities. The hardware chain has teamed up with Make a Wish Ireland, Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Jack and Jill and Irish Autism Action and hopes to raise €200,000 over four weeks in August. Each Saturday this month, Woodie’s staff will cycle on static bikes in-store.

Donation buckets will be available to customers. Various fundraising initiatives will also take place in stores and customers can donate €1 at the tills. Woodie’s Heroes will culminate in an all-Ireland cycle ride on August 26.
